Etrog’ is one of the oldest known citrus plants going back to the beginning of western civilization. The plant is vigorous, free flowering and fruits year-round. The fruit at times will attain the size of a football reaching up to several pounds. It has a thick, aromatic rind which is often candied or made into a sour lemon pulp.
