Himalayan Butterfly Bush is an old favorite of Logees. Its silver-gray felted leaves are crowned by large umbels of intensely fragrant lilac-type flowers. The flowing, mounding form reaches about 3 in height and every year it blooms reliably all summer long. In our area of northeastern Connecticut, this perennial shrub dies back to the ground and re-emerges next season to start its show all over again.
