This is an easy and rewarding aquatic bladderwort (Utricularia). It will thrive on a sunny windowsill or under grow lights. Some people even grow it in the water trays of carnivorous plants! It has beautiful yellow flowers that hang on 3-5″ scapes.

This will come in a small clump, at least 6 worth, but it may be in a few individual sprigs, in water, or in a resealable plastic bag.

Care:

Grow your gibbain almost any container, but it will enjoy at least a gallon of water. Mix one cup of peat moss in each gallon of water. You may need to change the peaty water if algae becomes a problem, but some algae is normal. Grow in sunny to partly sunny conditions; thesun induces flowering. This plant is tolerant of a wide range of temperatures and can even be frozen solid and return to growth when thawed.
